Alvarez Earns Distinguished Alumna Award
Financial and management professional Natalie Alvarez ’11 will be honored the Distinguished Alumna Award during Palm Beach Atlantic University’s Homecoming celebration.
The Distinguished Alumni Award recognizes a graduate for personal and professional achievement and for bringing honor to Palm Beach Atlantic University.
A resident of Stuart, Florida, Alvarez holds a vice president position at IBERIABANK. She has over 29 years of banking and management experience working for leading financial institutions in the private wealth management and retail sector.
Alvarez has been the South East Florida market manager and vice president of CenterState Bank/First Southern Bank, and an office manager and assistant vice president at Regent Bank in Palm Beach.
“Having already been established in my career as a banker, by attending PBA I was able to build my confidence and enhance my leadership skills to better serve my community and make a positive impact on my career,” she said.
Her community involvements include serving on the committee of Bella’s Angels, The Children’s Healing Institute, Habitat for Humanity, A Woman’s Journey Palm Beach County, and the Town of Palm Beach United Way. She is a member of the board for Executive Women of the Palm Beaches Foundation, the West Palm Beach Library Association and served as the chair of the Executive Women of the Palm Beaches and the Arthritis Foundation.
Alvarez graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in organizational management. She has continued her involvement with PBA on the board of the Alumni Association and the Alumni Association Annual Tea and Silent Auction.
Alvarez will be honored, along with her sister Gina Sabean ’06, at the Homecoming dinner at 6 p.m., Saturday, November 11, at The Colony Hotel in Palm Beach. The event is one of the highlights of Homecoming weekend. For more information, visit http://www.pba.edu/homecoming.
