CPFI Student Chapter Receives National Honor
Christian Pharmacist Fellowship International (CPFI) recognized Palm Beach Atlantic University’s CPFI student chapter as the national chapter of the year. The announcement was made in June at the group’s annual conference in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
Jason Bowen (P3), a pharmacy student in the Gregory School of Pharmacy, served as president of the chapter along with Pakou Vang (P2), who is president–elect. Dr. Jay Jackson and Dr. Tom Robertson serve as co-advisors to the chapter.
This honor was the chapter’s second of the year as it previously was selected to receive a $500 grant for their service project helping the homeless in conjunction with St. George’s Episcopal Church in Riviera Beach.
Christian Pharmacist Fellowship International is a worldwide, interdenominational ministry of individuals working in all areas of pharmaceutical service and practice. CPFI’s mission is to help pharmacy professionals grow spiritually and promote fellowship among pharmacists.
