Lynn University Basketball Team Mentors Students at Boca ES

Every Tuesday, members of the Lynn University Fighting Knights basketball team spend their morning on the campus of Boca Elementary School. The players read to the students, mentor and assist in the classrooms as their way of giving back to the community, while also bringing joy to their own lives.
The idea came about as the basketball coach for the team, whose child attends the school, realized there was an opportunity for his players to make an impact on these young people.
