December 2017

Palm Beach Atlantic University’s MacArthur School of Leadership is the educational partner for the International Leadership Association conference Oct. 24 – 27, 2018 at the Palm Beach County Convention Center in West Palm Beach.

The International Leadership Association (ILA) is the global network for all those who practice, study, and teach leadership. The ILA promotes a deeper understanding of leadership knowledge and practices for the greater good of individuals and communities worldwide.

“Hosting the 2018 ILA conference is the next step in raising the international leadership community’s awareness of the great things that God is doing in and through the MacArthur School of Leadership,” said Dr. Craig Domeck, dean of the MacArthur School and conference chair.

The theme of the 20th anniversary global conference is Authentic Leadership for Progress, Peace and Prosperity. The conference attracts 1,200 leadership coaches, consultants, public leaders, executives, educators, students, scholars and researchers.

Barbara Kellerman, the James MacGregor Burns Lecturer in Public Leadership at the Harvard Kennedy School, has been announced as one of the plenary speakers. Additional speakers will be announced.

The call for proposals for the conference is open. Deadline for submission is February 1, 2018. Audy Johnston, assistant professor of leadership and management, is the speaker chair for the conference.
