Suncoast High students have Palm Beach County’s highest SAT scores

Students at Suncoast High School led all Palm Beach County public schools in SAT scores during a countywide test-taking session this year, followed by Dreyfoos School of the Arts.

Those results come as little surprise. Suncoast and Dreyfoos are the county’s two only “full-choice” high schools, meaning all students who attend have to apply and be accepted, based in part on their grades.

Jupiter High and Spanish River High in West Boca rounded out the top four.

The results come from the February 25 “school day” tests, in which the school district lets students at district-run schools countywide take the SAT at no cost.

Countywide, 10,700 students participated.
